A tall and slender man, who call himself as the "Great Detective". He was a former professor at the M University, thus the Iwasaki triplets call him as "Kyoju" (Professor in in English). He has a high potential as a detective but, it seems that he lacks commonsense and memory, as he forgotten his own age and birthday, as well as the past cases he has solved. He eats a lot, but he forgets eating for a days once he gotten into reading books. He believes that he's life is complete with just books and a sofa, where he can lay down and read books, and because of that he doesn't leave his house, except going to convenience store, book store or he has cases to solve.
