Hasunuma is a teacher at Komaki's school. Since the beginning of the manga, he is shown to have weird behavior and seems to be aware of the many secrets of the other characters. He is shown to be a good teacher who is adored and popular with students, who jokes with them and turns a blind eye to some of their mischievous behaviors at school. He begins as a support character at the start of the manga, but later, he becomes a main character with significant importance to the plot. Hanasuma is always the one in the dark, solving problems when things become a little too dangerous, at least with the problems that the main characters are involved in. He appears to be mysterious and smart.
