Yatagarasu is a demon from the Wild Bird Tribe, and the 14th general manager of the Oriental Harpie Restaurant. In spite of his scary appearance, he is renowned for having made his own fortune from the ground up, and for employing any harpy demon regardless of the family they come from. He invites Demon King Tasogare and the others to the Restaurant to improve relations between the two factions; while intimidated at first, Yatagarasu's hospitality quickly earns him Tasogare's approval. In reality, Yatagarasu is a huge fan of Tasogare and has low self esteem.
