Goldmary is a royal knight from Elusia, hailing from a small village as the only child of owners of an inn near a hot spring. When she was younger, her village was caught up in a skirmish between Brodia and Elusia. She was nearly killed in the ensuing battle, but was rescued by Hortensia.
