Appears in Wasuregatami (Keepsake). O-Suzu is Toyoji's late wife. Nine months after her death, a living infant is discovered attached by an umbilical cord to her dead body, prompting villagers to mock Toyoji even further. She was aware that Toyoji had a mistress and, when she got pregnant, demanded that the child be raised by Toyoji and O-Suzu, as O-Suzu couldn't have biological children of her own. Her death was a result of poisoning, under O-Mitsu's ministrations.
