She is the <i>ane-san</i> of Kansai's Kadokanegumi, wife to <i>kumicho</i> Itsuro, and the mother of Tsubaki and Sumire. Beautiful and flirty, she is ultimately loyal to her husband and projects the image of an elegant and perfect <i>gokudo</i> wife (although she is secretly hopeless with directions). She is more in tune with her kids' feelings than Itsuro is, and sends them to study in Tokyo to keep them away from the <i>gokudo</i> life. When Tsubaki gets kidnapped, she sets off on her own to rescue him after seeing her husband's stubbornness.
