Age: 12 Yuuwa is the son of Sakahogigumi's <i>kumicho</i>. While out playing, he and his friends steal a briefcase containing a mysterious drug, thinking it contained money; shortly after, Yuuwa's friends die after taking the drug and Sakahogigumi's <i>kumiin</i> begin turning up dead. Feeling responsible for it, Yuuwa attempts a hit-and-run on Ryuuji in order to test him and see if he can help with catching the culprit. Yuuwa initially looks down on Ryuuji and Tsukasa, but gains respect for them after seeing how they fight and keep their word. He is very protective of his younger sister, Minobu.
