Tomioka is a police officer part of the GRAVE Division. She works with Akira and often has to talk him out of a slump whenever he gets scolded for being clumsy and making mistakes on the job. When they finally get a day off, she drags him to the newly-opened water park Tokyo New Haven; there, Tomioka is the one who pieces together most of the plan to bomb the park and also defuses some of the bombs. Later on, she figures out pretty quickly that Akira has a crush on Tsukasa.
