Kaida-san is the main character of KIGITSU Katsuhisa's series, <i>Kaida-san no Kaidan</i> (Ms. Kaida's Ghost Stories). She likes telling scary stories to the boy sitting next to her, much to his dismay. She appears in a one-time crossover in <i>Franken Fran Frantic</i>, to commemorate the release of <i>Kaida-san no Kaidan</i>. In this chapter, Kaida transfers to Fran's school and takes an interest in the "scary stories" that Fran has seen during her medical career.
