Akizuki Izumi is an unintelligent, outgoing, strong-willed, nosy but helpful girl who is caught bringing her bike onto school grounds by public morals representative Chiharu Kusakabe, which is against Seiran's regulations. Despite her first encounter with Chiharu, which ends in her being scolded, she continues to bring her bike to school, but the time she spends getting caught by Chiharu ends with them befriending one another. Izumi is often seen wearing earrings, and has a single fang on the left side of her mouth that is seen whenever she smiles. She calls Chiharu "Miss Brazen Brow," and is a self-proclaimed "idiot for the last 15 years."
